Community Guidelines

Why hello there! We’re so glad you’re here, ready to eat with us at the world’s largest dinner table. This space is your space. This space is our space. This space was made for you and me. And to ensure it stays that way, here are a few things to remember.

By joining Foodquirk, you agree to the following community guidelines:

  • This is, first and foremost, your community. Everyone and every food has a place at this table.
  • Food is personal. And there’s no shame in that game. Honor all reasons for what, why, and how people eat.
  • Respect is paramount. We take seriously our responsibility to host a trustworthy and courteous community. While it’s okay to differ, posts or comments that are offensive or bullying will be vigilantly removed. Repeated violations are grounds for terminating an account. To learn more, check out our Terms of Use which govern your use of FoodQuirk Sites.
  • No promotional material, please. You can add a link to a personal site in your profile as long as it adds value and doesn’t offend, but should always keep sales or business promotions off the feed. Foodquirk reserves the right to remove posts and comments that are promotional in nature or otherwise violate community rules. To learn more, check out our Terms of Use which govern your use of FoodQuirk Sites.
  • Consider the source. Foodquirk is a place where opinions and palates rule supreme, but passion does not replace vetted expertise. Thoughts, ideas, and inspiration from Foodquirk are not akin to advice from your physician. Before adopting any dietary habit or lifestyle change, consult your doctor. To learn more, check out our Health Disclaimer.
  • Keep it clean. Keep your commentary, posts, and videos appropriate enough for the kids’ table (no nudity or profanity!). If it’s not kosher, it’ll be removed by the Foodquirk team and could be grounds for terminating an account. To learn more, check out our Terms of Use which govern your use of FoodQuirk Sites.

Are you in? We hope so. We can’t wait to see what you bring to the table.
